Why are women so desperate for a wedding ring?
I have noticed, through my excruciating evaluations of American society, how women like to show off their wedding rings–fat married women and even the attractice ones. Men can not even be looking at a woman but she will motion that she is married. Lots of men like myself are married and want nothing to do with other women, but yet I really do see how desperate women are to show off for the ring. Why?
to show that some guy was stupid enough to spend 3 months worth of salary for a ring that has less than 20% resale value ( you ever try to sell a set diamond, no jeweler wants to buy one ), as the ring have only intrinsic value for women, and small rings are often a source of discontent among women and a berating of the man for going in so "cheap"
debeers banks on the guilt trip laid on a man by women into thinking a diamond is supposed to be the eternal symbol of love, well with a more than 50% divorce rate, clearly that is not so

Why are women so desperate to wear a wedding ring?
I've noticed this trend among girls. They like to pretend they're married by wearing a wedding band. I guess they think it's a sign of maturity or something. Also, I've noticed how married men usually don't wear wedding rings. So, why is it that women wear wedding rings in the first place? It seems like they are trying to show that they're mature or sophisticated, yet it seems very insecure that a person should have to wear a ring to prove they're married. Strange.
I keep trying to talk to this girl named Cel, at the company I work for, but every time she sees me coming she jams a wedding ring on her finger. I don't get it.
